AAArohan works with paediatricians, neonatologists, paediatric subspecialists, NICU and high-risk follow-up units, schools and mental health professionals.
Who we are
AAArohan is an integrated centre for child development and adolescent well-being, bringing developmental paediatrics, therapy, special education, counselling and family support together under one roof.
The centre is led by Dr Gurpreet Kaur, Developmental Paediatrician, and Dr Kanchan Gaur, Counsellor.
Clinical scope
Developmental consultation and screening, comprehensive developmental assessment, developmental quotient and cognitive assessment, sensory processing assessment, speech and language assessment, behavioural assessment, assessment for specific learning difficulties.
Early intervention and high-risk infant follow-up, sensory-motor integration, speech and language therapy, special education and functional communication, neurodevelopmental therapy, Launchpad school-transition groups, supported peer groups, child and adolescent counselling and behaviour support, adult and parent counselling.
We are glad to accept NICU and high-risk infant referrals directly from neonatal units for structured developmental surveillance.
Our ethical position
AAArohan does not participate in referral commissions, incentive-based referral systems, or any commercial referral arrangement. We ask for your trust on clinical grounds alone.
This is worth stating plainly, because it is not the norm.
What happens after you refer
When you refer a family to us, we will acknowledge the referral and confirm that the child has been evaluated.
Beyond that, we do not routinely share information about enrolment, therapy plans, attendance or follow-up. This protects the family's confidentiality and privacy, and keeps our professional relationship free from any expectation tied to referrals. Where clinical information needs to be shared in a child's interest, we do so with the family's consent.

Academic engagement
Both founders teach and are available as faculty for hospital sessions, school workshops and professional training. We also run periodic webinars for clinicians and educators.
